Hunting

With over 5,000 acres to hunt with 10 feed stations, Rhodes Ranch has a healthy population of whitetail deer, turkey, birds, wild hogs, and a variety of varmints for those faster hunts. The ranch is managed and never overhunted. It has been rested for the past 3 years and had several trophy whitetails taken the 2 years prior. History

The Rhodes Ranch was established in the 1940’s by G.F. and Myrtle Rhodes. The ranch was initially purchased to run a cattle operation and house the horses that the couple loved so dearly, including a world champion cutting horse, “Poco Stampede.” The Rhodes were avid horse and cattle enthusiasts and purchased close to 10,000 acres that included a portion of the Butterfield Stagecoach Route, where several battles occurred only a few hundred yards behind where the headquarters now sits.
